#GetToKnowHERstory

Every day, over 8,000 people walk into the doors of Planned Parenthood health centers across the country to receive birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and safe and legal abortion. And while most people recognize Planned Parenthood for doing exactly that – providing abortions and sexual and reproductive care – doctors, clinicians, and staff are also there for the everyday services like an annual well-woman visit. It turns out, if you have a vulva, breasts, or a uterus, these visits are an important part of taking care of your health (no matter what your gender identity is). So, #GetToKnowHERstory is ready to get young women comfortable with their health history. But that's not all. Most importantly, this campaign would set out to empower women and shed light on the extraordinary, empowering, and influential stories that create HERstory – health being only aspect of her story. Although in the past, her story may have been overshadowed by his, #GetToKnowHERstory is changing history as we know it. The campaign would launch during Women's History Month in March to remind people that it's about damn time we start learning HERstory. So, who's ready?
